I never thought I would be an actor.  I come from a large family and entertaining and storytelling were such a part of my family life that it didn’t seem any different to act onstage in front of an audience.  Slowly, I have developed such an importantly personal relationship to my art that I am starting to finally feel like what started out as a theatrical fling is now turning into a theatrical partnership for life.  I love exploring new and difficult terrain, digging deep into character and circumstance, and never letting go of the fact that what I do best is play.

I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being.
